Here we are!

And so this is the final day. What did I think? Unfortunately being on this laptop has soured my final thoughts. Did I enjoy it? Yes! Of course, but it feels somewhat big yet featureless. I feel way better using apps that are more fully featured and open for multiple ways of use.

So, what DID you enjoy

I enjoyed the workflow, like, a LOT. It taught me that things that stray from the traditional Windows and macOS style are not immediately "ew"

Are you looking forward to going back to KDE?

Oh, of COURSE I am. I can't wait to go back. But, I feel like it wasn't a negative experience to be honest. I'm glad that a lot of my issues were either my problem, or they were fixed earlier. Last I used GNOME on this exact laptop, and the performance is WAY better than it has been back then.

Have you done anything today?

I've tried how GNOME is with two monitors. It's quite weird, at least out of the box. Why is the second monitor a single static workspace? It makes no sense. Screenshotting both screens at once produces weird garbled data in the place where there's no screen too, which is just mindboggling. The file picker is also awful. I've tried to get used to it, but it's just bad

Any last words?

Of course, I would really like to thank my friend for suggesting this challenge and cheering me on all throughout. I'm very thankful. I would also like to thank all of my readers. Really, I don't know who you are if you don't reach out, but if you want to, feel free to message me, say hi, or just comment on whatever I wrote. All up to you, I love some feedback.

See you soon!
